E-40 is a legend in the world of Hip-Hop for starting one of the first independent labels, Sick Wid It Records. He started out in his hometown of Vallejo, CA with his cousin B-Legit and brother D-Shot to form the Most Valuable Players. In 1993, E-40 dropped his solo debut "Federal" and received alot of hometown love and somehow managed to reach other areas with the song "Carlos Rossi". Known for an unorthodox rhyme style, E-40 also set himself apart by creating his own slang. As he kept releasing albums, his status grew to the point where he is one of the most respected West Coast artists around. Proving that longevity and independence is the key, E-40 is set to release his 12th album later this year. Here a few joints by E-40 for you to ride to.
